A few weeks back I felt as though God was really pushing me to write a series of blog posts on media within church settings. A blog series geared to the “every church” and not the “mega church”. I feel impressed to write something informative – to deliver the resources a ministry needs to truly reach the community of people around them in a media enriched society.
I believe that churches, especially churches in communities that would be considered small, do not have the proper grasp of media nor do they understand that media can have just as big of an impact in their community as it does in larger churches if they are equipped. Now, I am not a big shot media pastor with loads of credentialing under my belt, but what I do have is the desire to see pastors and ministry teams succeed in presenting the gospel. What I do have I want to share with you. I give my knowledge, resources, imagination, creativity, and dedication to empower you and to equip you.
So, over the course of the next “only God himself knows how long” I will be writing such blog posts. Send me your questions, your concerns, issues you have encountered and I will do my very best to seek out the best information and offer the best advice. I want to teach you what I know and be a resource for you. I want to partner with you and your ministry team in bringing lost souls home, in teaching the saints, and in bringing in a new dynamic to your ministry and it’s impact on the community it is rooted in.
